Default Applying runes to armour

Hi everyone, I have this little problem...

does applying runes to different parts of your armour have any significant effects? if i wanted to add superior vigor, absorption and axe mastery which part of the armour should i apply them to?

thnx everyone for clearing this up for me.

Whichever one you want. Runes don't stack. The -hp stacks.

You will pretty much always want Sup. Vigor and Absorb, so put them on a piece of armor you won't be changing out (chest or legs is my preference). Put the Sup Axe on something you are more likely to swap, like your helmet. (One helmet for Sup axe, one for Sup sword, etc.)

I have heard rumors that Absorption runes apply only to the armor piece they're applied to. If that's true, the Cuirass/Hauberk is the best place to put it, since it takes a larger % of hits than any other single piece.

However, as I said its a rumor and I have no clue if its true or not. That said, I always put the Absorb rune on the chest piece, because ..well.. why not?

A rumor that`s not true.

Same set up I use for the same reason.

Yup, I like to add the axe mastery rune to the axe mastery helmet and the sword mastery rune to the sword helmet... etc... It makes switching build much easier. vigor I usually add to feet for some strange reason. but legging is fine also.
